THE BIG KNOT
How simple can it be to 'simply style yourself '?
Knots are a good way to lift the front of the hair. Long dreadlocks fall flat because of their excessive weight. Wearers of long dreadlocks, most times, can't achieve the natural volume that shorter dreadlock wearers enjoy when wearing their hair loose. Knots for the front of the hair also help to alleviate the stress caused by pulling the locs too tightly away from the face.
Check out this simple BIG knot and see how easy it is to 'simply style yourself'.

1. Divide hair evenly down the center from front to back. Grasp both sides.
|
2. Tie the two sections into a basic knot in whichever direction you like. Leaning the head forward is sometimes helpful. |
3. Pull the knot as tight as you would like. If your hair is short, you may want to make the knot tight, but if your hair is longer, you may tighten the knot first and then loosen it as much as you want for varying degrees of fullness on the top. Smooth the back.
