Basic Bun using the Knotty Soc^TM

(see below for more styling ideas)

Pull hair up at the top of the head. Make a small nub of hair using an elastic band. Grasp the remaining hair. Wind the remaining hair around the nub.

Tuck the ends of your hair under the wrapped hair. If your hair is short you may need to use pins to secure the bun. You will have a simple bun when done. Slide the Knotty Soc™ down over your bun. Go underneath and smooth out any stray locs.

Grasp the ends of the Knotty Soc™. Fold it down neatly over itself. Fold it back up neatly over itself. Neaten up the back seam by lining it up.



You may wear the hair high on the head. You may wear the hair lower near the neck.



Other Styling Ideas

Tower your hair up into a bun and add a Knotty Soc™ (your bun doesn't even have to be neat, the elasticity of the Knotty Soc™ will take care of that). Make a quick big braid and tuck it down into your Knotty Soc™ . Use it with your Big Knot. Here the Big Knot is shown braided at the ends.
